The aim of this web questionnaire is to generate inputs to the consultation on an IMoSEB from individuals and institutions that have not been able to participate in the others than through the regional consultations and meetings.
The first IMoSEB Web questionnaire was to to involve all the biodiversity stakeholders in the consultation and to gather views from different perspectives in order to feed the consultation and to determine the follow up of the consultation and what a n “IMoSEB” could be.
Based on the results and on several case studies conducted, the IMoSEB Executive Committee identified needs at the biodiversity knowledge and decision-making and formulated options for meeting those needs in a whole or in part.
On the basis of the ISC Needs & Options document and the Mid -term synthesis note, you international organizations, scientific societies, governments, research initiatives having a strong interest in the consultative process are invited could participate and express to submit their views on these needs and options and also to react on the results of the first regional consultations on the preliminary results and to help us to shape the discussion further. We are especially keen to hear from the academic community, scientific socieities, government bodies, private companies and national and international NGOs that have not been able to participate in the process so far.
You are invited to complete the questionnaire here, but also to submit written comment aries directly to the Executive Secretariat for consideration by the IMoSEB International Steering Committee.
All submissions must be received by the Secretariat by answers to the Web questionnaire and propositions should be submitted before October 1 st, 2007.
